1. How my heart sings now to hear the divine
Maker of all things say, "Child, you are mine.
I hold you precious, I love you, I do.
Know, my Beloved: I 'm well pleased with you!"

2.  Oh how the sound of that voice poets claim
crashes like thunder and flashes with flame,
now shakes my world when God whispers my name:
"See how I love you? Now go! Love the same."

3.  Into the darkness of chaos God's voice
in the beginning spoke life from the void;
Speak, Lord! Speak Life, and I know I'm made new, as
I hear the sweet words: "My Child, I love you!"

4.  Oh how my heart thrills to hear that voice call!
My heart, my soul and my body - yes all,
all I am answers when God calls my name:
"See how I love you? Now go! Love the same."

Based on : Genesis 1, Isaiah 43:1-7, Psalm 29, Luke 3:21-22
